What do you like most about what you do?
Making a difference to people's lives, connecting with people and learning new things.

What's something people would never guess about you?
I grew up on a farm in Hyden, Wave Rock.

What's your favourite food?
Chocolate.

What's your favourite movie or TV show?
The Great British Bake Off.

What do you wish more people knew about their super and retirement?
How powerful small actions can be over time. Taking an interest in your super, understanding your investment options, and making even small additional contributions where possible can make a significant difference in the long run.

Most importantly, I want people to feel comfortable asking questions. Super doesn’t have to be complicated, and support is always available.

Meet Sam Henry

Fast facts about Sam

What do you like most about what you do?
The opportunity to make a difference to people’s financial future. Super can feel complex and easy to put off, so being able to simplify it and help someone take even one small step is incredibly rewarding.

What's something people would never guess about you?
That I’m a keen scuba diver, ideally in warm, tropical waters. I’ve travelled to a range of exotic locations and have had a few memorable dives with sharks.

What's your favourite food?
Pizza, Japanese food and chocolate.

What's your favourite movie or TV show?
Anything that doesn’t require too much thinking at the end of a busy day – currently the final season of Outlander.

What do you wish more people knew about their super and retirement?
That small and consistent actions over time can make a significant difference.

Many people think they need to make big changes, but even small contributions over a longer period of time can have a meaningful impact.

Meet Paul Ferrante

Education Manager

Paul brings over 23 years of experience in superannuation and financial services. Having previously worked with UniSuper and GESB Financial Advice, he has developed strong expertise in member engagement and education.

Paul is recognised for his ability to translate complex financial topics into clear, practical guidance for members.

Fast facts about Paul

What do you like most about what you do?
Helping our members build the confidence to make well-considered decisions about their super.

What’s something people would never guess about you?
People are usually surprised to hear I was at the very first West Coast Eagles game at Subiaco Oval in 1987 - I was just a kid at the time. And later on, I volunteered at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, which meant I got to see some pretty unforgettable moments up close.

What’s your favourite food?
My favourite food is homemade Italian – nothing beats it.

What’s your favourite movie or TV show?
Seinfeld – always a classic and never gets old. I can watch it over and over again.

What do you wish more people knew about their super and retirement?
Many people underestimate how much control they have over their super and retirement outcomes.

Starting early can make a real difference - through extra contributions, choosing a strong low-cost fund, selecting an appropriate investment mix and having the right insurance cover.

Every bit helps, and importantly, it’s never too late to take action.

Meet Matthew Kearney

I really enjoy the process of making coffee from start to finish. From grinding the beans to doing latte art, it is something I have built into my daily routine.

What’s your favourite food?
I love Indian food, my favourite dish would be a Lamb Rogan Josh. When we were in England we went to a Indian restaurant called Dishoom and would have to say it was the best Indian food I have ever had.

What’s your favourite movie or TV show?
I love a good reality game show - Survivor would be my favourite show at the moment. I also enjoy a good comedy like Brooklyn Nine Nine.

What do you wish more people knew about their super and retirement?
Superannuation isn’t something to focus on only at retirement - it’s a long-term investment that builds throughout your entire working life.

Even small decisions made early can have a significant impact over time, so engaging with your super sooner rather than later can place you in a much stronger position for retirement.

  • Help you navigate changes to superannuation policy and ensure your payroll and super processes align with the latest requirements
