New continuing professional development opportunities for advisers
We provide a range of information and services to support you in providing sound financial advice to our members to help them achieve a quality retirement.
As part of this, we recently received Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accreditation from the Financial Advisers Association of Australia (FAAA) for our Gold State Super and West State Super technical training sessions.
What you will learn in the new training sessions
These sessions allow you and colleagues to learn more about the unique features of Gold State Super and West State Super, keep up to date with industry and fund developments, while earning points towards your legislated annual CPD requirements.
This includes how to:
- Take advantage of opportunities to help grow your clients’ super
- Avoid any pitfalls and understand the options available for clients transitioning out of the workforce
- Navigate taxation and access benefits
Overall, you’ll have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and build your capability to provide advice strategies that are appropriate for your clients with Gold State Super or West State Super.
Please note, advisers do not need to be an FAAA member to participate and receive CPD points for these sessions.
How the training contributes to your CPD requirements
