We’ve looked after your super and we can take care of your retirement income too. With an RI Allocated Pension, you can:

  • Convert your super into a regular income stream
  • Get paid monthly, quarterly or annually into your nominated bank account
  • Make lump-sum withdrawals of $1,000 or more at any time
  • Invest your account balance in a choice of investment options to generate tax-free returns
  • Use Member Online to manage your account online

If you’re 60 or over, your pension payments and lump-sum withdrawals will be tax free.

A $2 million cap applies on the total amount of super you can transfer to a tax-free retirement account.

Choose GESB if you work outside the WA public sector

If you're a GESB member who works outside the Western Australia (WA) public sector, you can choose to have your private sector (non-government) employer contributions paid to a GESB Super account.

If you have a West State Super, Gold State Super or Retirement Income account, we will open a GESB Super account for you when we receive your first non-government employer contribution.

Fill out our Fund nomination form and give it to your non-government employer. You can complete the form online and email it directly to your employer’s payroll office.
