How to provide digital authority to deduct
To authorise us to deduct the fee for your virtual Retirement Options Service (ROS) appointment, we need to receive a declaration email from you.
Alternatively, you can email a signed Authority to deduct form back to us before your appointment, or pay the fee by debit card or credit card (we accept MasterCard and Visa) at the start of your appointment.
Step 1 - create a new email
- Add the ROS email address as the recipient ros@gesb.com.au
- Add ‘Authority to deduct declaration for ROS appointment’ as the subject line
Step 2 - insert declaration
Copy the below declaration into the body of your email.
This declaration gives us the authority to deduct the ROS fee from your chosen account.
You’ll need to update the declaration to make it relevant to you.
- Please only update the details highlighted in yellow – do not change any other wording.
Copy and paste the below bullet points into your email:
- I <insert full name> give authority to Government Employees Superannuation Board (ABN 43 418 292 917) to deduct a fee for the ROS appointment I have booked in relation to my GESB account(s)
- I acknowledge the fee for the ROS is $350
- I would like the fee to be deducted from my <GESB Super/West State Super/Retirement Income Allocated Pension> account
- I understand my consent expires once the fee has been deducted from my account
- I understand I can withdraw my consent to the deduction of fees from my account by contacting Government Employees Superannuation Board on 13 43 72 prior to my ROS appointment
Step 3 - send the email
We will verbally confirm we have received your declaration at the start of your appointment.
