Welcome to the 'Into your comfort zone' seminar and webinar program, brought to you by the Department of Education and presented by your Key Account Management team at GESB.

With over 85 years’ experience looking after the super and retirement savings of current and former WA public sector workers, GESB has the experience and skills to support you with your retirement planning.

You don’t have to be a GESB member to attend this program. The information is relevant to all Department of Education teachers and administrators who are approaching retirement.

Our 2024 program gives you the opportunity to attend an in-person seminar or participate in an online webinar.

The program is designed to help you better understand your financial position. You’ll learn how to manage your retirement funds, including making the most of your super and the tax-effective options available. The program is designed to help you learn how to move into retirement – and your comfort zone – in a way that best suits you.

The approximate length of each presentation is:

  • ‘Into your comfort zone’ seminar – 150 minutes
  • ‘Into your comfort zone’ webinar – 90 minutes
  • ‘Fundamentals of super’ webinar – 60 minutes

‘Into your comfort zone’ is designed for teachers and administrators at the Department of Education who are within 10 years of retiring or considering part-time employment in the lead up to retirement. We may extend the program to other staff in the future.

‘Into your comfort zone’ is brought to you by the Department of Education and facilitated by the Key Account Management team at GESB.
