Welcome to the 'Into your comfort zone' seminar and webinar program, brought to you by the Department of Education and presented by your Relationship Management and Education team at GESB.
With over 85 years’ experience looking after the super and retirement savings of current and former WA public sector workers, GESB has the experience and skills to support you with your retirement planning.
In this program, we provide detailed information to support you with your retirement planning, as well as covering the fundamentals of super. You can choose between attending a seminar (150 minutes) or joining a webinar (90 minutes).
You don’t have to be a GESB member to attend this program. The information is relevant to all Department of Education teachers and administrators who are approaching retirement. If you are not a GESB member, contact us to register.

No, you don’t need to be a GESB member to attend. The information is relevant for anyone approaching retirement.
If you’re not a GESB member, email us with the following details to book a session:
- Your full name
- Your mobile number
- The session(s) you want to attend
The program is designed to help you better understand your financial position. You’ll learn how to manage your retirement funds, including making the most of your super and the tax-effective options available. The program is designed to help you learn how to move into retirement – and your comfort zone – in a way that best suits you.
The approximate length of each presentation is:
- ‘Into your comfort zone’ seminar – 150 minutes
- ‘Into your comfort zone’ webinar – 90 minutes
‘Into your comfort zone’ is designed for teachers and administrators at the Department of Education who are within 10 years of retiring or considering part-time employment in the lead up to retirement. We may extend the program to other staff in the future.
‘Into your comfort zone’ is brought to you by the Department of Education and facilitated by the Relationship Management and Education team at GESB.
No. There is no cost to attend.

Meet Brad
Brad is our Relationship Manager dedicated to the Department of Education.
With 30 years’ experience in the WA public sector, including more than 20 years at GESB, he brings a wealth of knowledge to every session and can simplify the complexities of our schemes for members.
Brad is available to run a range of informative seminars and Q & A sessions at your workplace. If you are at a school, he will happily run it after the final siren to better accommodate your staff.
