If you’re a GESB Super, West State Super, RI Allocated Pension or RI Term Allocated Pension member, you can now see what the 10-year investment returns are for all of our investment plans.
Your investment returns can be defined as the gain or loss in the value of your investment over any period of time.
Your investment plan is the way your super is invested. Here are some important things to know:
- Your investment plan, along with any contributions, withdrawals or deductions from your account, will affect your account balance
- We offer a range of different investment plans designed to give you a choice in how your money is invested
- You can review your investment plan to make sure it suits your investment personality and goals
If you haven’t chosen an investment plan, you’ve been automatically invested in the default investment option for your scheme. That’s My GESB Super plan, My West State Super plan, or if you have one of our retirement accounts, it’s the Balanced plan or Balanced plan TTR.
When you’re looking at investment returns, always keep in mind that some periods of negative returns are normal. This is because financial markets generally tend to move up and down in the short term. Also, please be aware that past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance.
