We’re delighted to announce the recent appointment of Virginia Christie to our GESB Board. Virginia replaces Scott Ellis as one of our Employer Directors. We would like to thank Scott Ellis for his valuable contribution during his time serving our Board.

Virginia has more than 25 years’ experience in the financial sector and public policy roles. This includes 20 years with the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) and four years with the Commonwealth Treasury.

Previously, Virginia was on the RBA Superannuation Board of Trustees and was head of the RBA’s WA office.

Virginia was also the Executive in Residence at The University of Western Australia’s Business School and consulted to KPMG Singapore as a subject matter expert on central banking.
