Fortnightly pension payments are now available

Wherever you are in your retirement journey, a flexible retirement income stream helps you navigate life’s changes.
Now, we’re giving you more control over your pension payment frequency, so you can manage your money the way that best suits you.
From 30 July 2026, Retirement Income (RI) Allocated Pension and Transition to Retirement Pension members can choose to have their pension paid fortnightly.
This means they can be paid either fortnightly, monthly, quarterly or annually.
Please note: if you have an RI Term Allocated Pension account, you can only choose to have your pension paid monthly, quarterly or annually.
How to change your pension payment frequency
You can change your pension payment frequency by logging in to Member Online or completing and posting our Retirement Income Pension change of details and pension payment variation form.
When will fortnightly pensions be paid?
You’ll receive your fortnightly pension payment on or before every second Thursday.
If a payment is scheduled on a WA public holiday, we’ll process it on the business day before.
Learn more about our pension payment dates and processing timeframes in our Retirement Income Pension product information booklet.
