It’s time to view your statement and statement summary

29 September 2020

You can now download your member statement and view your Annual Fund Update for the 2019/20 financial year.

We’re also excited to introduce several changes to our online statement summaries, based on feedback from our member surveys. We hope you’ll now find it even easier to use your statement summary and see your account details at a glance.

How to access your statement and statement summary

If you were registered for electronic statements by 30 June 2020, you’ll soon receive an email with a personalised link to your online statement summary, if you haven’t already. You can also access your full member statement, as well as other useful tools and information, from your statement summary.

If you opted out of receiving your account information electronically, or we didn’t have your email address by 30 June 2020, we’ll send you a paper statement and Annual Fund Update in the mail from 14 October.

This also means you won’t receive an online statement summary. Read our article to learn more about our statement summaries, including how to get access to a statement summary in future.

Not all statements are sent on the same day

We look after the retirement savings of more than 240,000 members – who might even have more than one account with us. To help the process run smoothly, we send out our member statements in batches rather than all on the same day. You might find the day you receive your statement is different from other people you know, if they also have an account with us.

Join us online to learn more about your account

Your member statement gives you more than just your account balance. If you’re a GESB Super or West State Super member, you might like to explore a typical statement and learn what many of the sections mean in our 30-minute Understanding your statement webinar.

You can also choose from a range of other webinar topics to help you learn more about your super, understand your investments, and build your retirement savings.
