Warning: coronavirus super scams

We’ve heard from members they’ve received unsolicited calls from us about super or insurance. This includes offers to help members access their super early, after the Government’s recent coronavirus stimulus package announcements
GESB will never call you to ask you for personal or financial information, nor will we ask you for payment.
Please be aware, there have also been recent reports in the news of phishing scams via email or text, specifically around COVID-19 coronavirus .

Both the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and Moneysmart have useful information online, specifically on learning how to spot a super scam, and where to report it.
