Who is a WA public sector casual employee?
To be considered a WA public sector casual employee, you must meet the following conditions. You are:
- Employed by a public sector body of WA
- Paid at an hourly rate
- Not entitled to be paid annual leave or sick leave in your employment
You are also considered a casual employee if you don’t meet the definition of a Permanent Employee, Sessional Employee or Contractor. For the meaning of these terms, please refer to the Glossary in the Insurance and your super brochure.
