How to apply for a third party authority

A third party authority is someone who you would like to authorise to access your super account on your behalf.

It can be a personal representative (such as a family member or friend) or a professional representative (such as your tax accountant or solicitor).

To nominate a third party authority, you’ll need to complete our Third party authority form.

You can also arrange for your nominated third party to complete and submit this on your behalf.

Third party authorities are valid for up to two years. If you’d like to extend an existing authority, or withdraw it early, you will need to notify us in writing.

For more information, please contact your Member Services Centre on 13 43 72.
