How do I register for Member Online?
It only takes few minutes to register for Member Online.
Before you get started
- Have your 7-digit member number ready
You can find this on your member statement or any communication from us about your account
- Have your phone, or the device you use the most, with you
This will help make setting up your account security easier
Step-by-step registration guide
- Go to Member Online
Select the ‘Login’ button at the top right of our website, or type mol.gesb.wa.gov.au into your browser. Select ‘Register now’
- Enter your member number and personal details
Read account security information and get ready to set up a passkey and/or authenticator on your device(s). Tick the declaration to confirm you’ve read and agreed to our Member Online terms and conditions and privacy statement
- Verify your email address by entering the code
We will send you a one-time verification code to confirm your email address. Enter it into Member Online when prompted
- Create a strong password
It must be at least eight characters, include an upper-case letter, lower-case letter and a number. To make your password stronger, we recommend you use at least 12 characters, as longer passwords are harder to crack
- Set up your security check option
Follow the prompts to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA) to protect your account. Verify your identity using a passkey and/or authenticator
- Registration complete
You’ll receive an email to confirm you’ve successfully registered for Member Online and that you’ve set up a security check option
Note: if there’s an issue with any of the information in your registration form, you’ll see a message asking you to check that part of the form or get in touch with us, depending on the issue.
