How to make the most of attending a webinar

Here are four simple tips to help you make the most of your webinar experience:

• On the day, join the webinar at least 15  minutes before the scheduled start time
• Test your audio settings before the webinar starts. Audio will be delivered using your computer's speaker system. Using a headset with a built-in microphone is recommended but not mandatory
• To eliminate background noise, all webinar participants will have their microphones muted, which means you’ll hear the presenters, but they can’t hear you. There may be silence until the GESB presenters begin speaking. You’ll still be able to raise questions during the webinar via chat and at the end of the webinar during question time
• Remember to divert your landline phone and put your mobile phone on silent to avoid interruptions
