Annual Member Meeting online help guide
This guide is designed to help you access and participate in our Annual Member Meeting. Find out how to:
Check your browser compatibility
The supported browsers for this meeting are:
- Chrome – version 44 and above
- Firefox – 40.0.2 and above
- Safari – OS X v10.9 ’Mavericks’ & OS X v10.10 ‘Yosemite’ and above

Join the meeting
Follow these steps to join the meeting from your computer, tablet or mobile device:
Step 1: Click the ‘Join Annual Member Meeting’ button in the reminder email we sent to you or click the ‘Join meeting’ button on our Annual Member Meeting page.
Step 2: Enter you details including your full name, mobile number and email address.
Step 3: Confirm you have read and accept the terms and conditions by ticking the box provided.
Step 4: Click the ‘Continue’ button.
Step 5: Under the ‘Login details’ tab, select your ‘Registration type’ from the dropdown box by choosing ‘Member’. Please note: if you log in as a guest, you won’t be able to ask questions.
Step 6: Enter your member number and click ‘Register’.
Step 7: You have now joined our Annual Member Meeting. You will be able to view the meeting on the left side of the screen, the presentation slides on the right side and the ‘Ask a question’ boxes at the top and bottom of the screen.
Ask a question
To ask a question, you must have logged in as a ‘member’ rather than a ‘guest’ and provided your member number.
You can ask a question before or during the meeting. Follow these steps to ask a question:
Step 1: Click the ‘Ask a question’ box at the top or bottom of the screen.
Step 2: The ‘Ask a question’ box will then appear for you to complete.
Step 3: Use the ‘Regarding’ drop down box to select the ‘General business’ question category.
Step 4: Type your question into the ‘Question’ section and click the ‘Submit question’ button
Step 5: Once you have asked a question, a ‘View questions’ box will appear. At any point you can click on ‘View questions’ and see all of the questions you have submitted. Only you can see the questions you have asked.
View closed captions
Closed captions allow you to see a text version of the audio content in the Annual Member Meeting.
Follow these steps to turn on closed captions:
Step 1: Right click on the video and select ‘Show controls’.
Step 2: Next, click on the ellipsis (3 vertical dots) in the bottom right-hand corner of the video.
Step 3: Select ‘captions’.
Step 4: Select ‘English’.
Closed captions should now appear for the meeting. Here is an example of closed captions from our last Annual Member Meeting.
