    Salary Continuance Insurance (SCI) provides a monthly income of up to 75% of your pre-disability annual income for up to two years if you become disabled due to sickness or injury. In addition, you may also be entitled to a Superannuation Top-Up Benefit.

  27. Why do you recommend I use my mobile number for the two-step security check?

    Your mobile number is generally the more secure way to receive your security code, since you’ll need to have access to your mobile device to view your security code. Emails can be accessed through a range of devices, so may not be as secure.

  28. Are employers able to make amendments to the choice form?

    Yes, as an employer you can make certain amendments to the choice form. Please make sure all amendments to the form are reviewed by the State Solicitors Office before any changes are made.

  29. Why do you recommend I change my Member Online password regularly?

    Updating your password regularly can help make sure your account is kept secure and safer from unauthorised access.

    When you change your password, we’ll check if your password is commonly used or if it has been compromised, so you know to choose a more secure option if necessary.

  30. Do the regulations change if employers are paying to external superannuation funds?

    The regulations may change, depending on the scheme. The State Superannuation Act and Regulations will continue to apply to you as an employer and the schemes we manage. Other funds are regulated under Commonwealth legislation and administered according to the rules of that relevant scheme.
